As a new experiment this year, we’ll be showcasing some fascinating trivia that players have not been privy to in the past.

Starting off, let’s take a look at the realm through the eyes of our fearsome foes, as we introduce the top one-hundred most lethal monsters.

These rankings were calculated by the total number of times each monster had KO’d a player. In the two week period that the data was tallied, the first-place monster Shinryu KO’d over 60,000 adventurers across all Worlds. Perhaps there are times that one must first taste defeat before discovering the most effective method to take down an enemy, but even so, you have to admit these are some pretty frightening statistics.

Continuing on, let’s delve into discerning players’ palates as we reveal the top twenty meals and beverages consumed by adventurers. In first place is the incredibly popular Meat Mithkabob. Easy enough for even a cooking novice to prepare, this hearty meal defeated its curry bun and sushi competition through its highly versatile ability to raise strength and attack power.

Ginger cookies at number six and wizard cookies at number twenty took their places on the list for their enhancing effects and the ease with which they are acquired. Since characters do not remain full for long after eating a cookie, players can just keep eating and fighting—the perfect snack for the active adventurer!

Pamama au lait at number eleven and melon juice at number thirteen may seem unusual additions to the list, but as temporary items found in treasure caskets, they are actually used quite often.

The upper ranks are dominated almost entirely by Abyssea areas. Many of the other areas on the list come from battle content such as Walk of Echoes, Dynamis, and Besieged.

The appearance of Valkurm Dunes and Qufim Island in the list may be due to the frequent use of these areas as hunting grounds by players level 30 and below.
