Waiving of April Fees Due to Suspension of Service (Mar. 28)

Due to the temporary suspension of the FINAL FANTASY XI game service, certain customers will not be charged monthly subscription fees for FINAL FANTASY XI during the April billing cycle. Below is a list of important notices for affected customers.

[For Payments Made Using Credit Cards]
* Eligibility
Customers with active subscriptions as of March 2011 who have already paid their subscription fees for April are eligible. This includes customers with active, automatically renewing subscriptions.

* Fees Waived
The subscription fees typically charged at the beginning of each month (12.95 € / £8.95 per month + 1.00 € / £0.70 per additional Content ID), will not be charged at the beginning of April.

[For Payments Made Using Debit Cards]
* Eligibility
- Customers who have already paid for April subscription fees using their debit cards.
- Customers who created new accounts in March, and have made payments, calculated on a daily basis, for April following the end of the free trial period will also be eligible.

* Fees Waived
We will refund any fees paid for April subscriptions. Refunds are scheduled to be made in April, and a separate notice will be issued once details are available.

* Notice for customers who have yet to pay April subscription fees:
Your account will be suspended unless payments are made for April subscriptions, so please make a payment for April as usual. Once you have done so, the payment will be refunded in the method described above. We sincerely regret the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

[Important Notices Concerning All Payment Methods]
* Only customers whose April subscription fees were paid as of March 2011 are eligible. Customers registering new accounts in April, or customers reactivating accounts that had been closed in February 2011 or earlier, are not eligible.
* Fees for any additional Content IDs purchased from April 2011 onwards will not be waived.
* Any charges aside from monthly subscription and additional Content ID fees (expansion purchases, etc.) will not be waived.
* Customers who closed their accounts at the end of March and reactivate their accounts during April will be eligible, however, due to the timing of account processing, debit card payments may not be refunded until May or later. If you closed your account in March, and would like to continue playing in April, please consider reactivating your account before then.
