Frequently Asked Questions about World Emigration

The following is a compilation of frequently asked questions regarding World emigration. Before preparing for World emigration, please refer to the following.

Question:
Will I be able to continue with any of my ongoing Quests?
Will I be able to keep my Conquest Points and Rank Points?

Answer:
Your character status will be carried over to the new World.
This includes levels, skills (battle, magic, synthesis), gil, items, Mog House's Mog Safe and layout, gardening status, home point, home country or mission rank, conquest points, etc. Your PlayOnline friend list, email, album, etc. will not change.

Question:
Will all characters applying be able to emigrate?

Answer:
All characters that applied during the application period will emigrate.  Depending on the application turnout, it is possible that your character will be reallocated or merged into another World.

Question:
When is the application deadline?
What will happen if I barely make the application process?

Answer:
On November 29th, 2003 at 7:00 (PST), the World Shifter from each World will disappear thus ending application. If you are in process of applying right before this time, the latest World emigration status will be saved. When the World Shifter disappears you will not be able to confirm your changes therefore be sure to take adequate time when finishing your application. There can be no more changes after the application deadline.

Question:
Is there any cost for World emigration?

Answer:
No. Any character can apply for free.

Question:
When I emigrate to the new World, where is my starting point?

Answer:
You will start from the last position you logged out from.  There are no changes with your home point.
