Game Freeze Issue with Feb. 20, 2006 Version Update
An issue where FINAL FANTASY XI Windows version users, who are using the following controller and driver, would encounter the game freeze while entering several areas after the Feb. 20, 2006 version update has been confirmed.
The issue is currently being addressed. As a temporary solution, please physically disconnect the controller. If you wish to use the controller, please uninstall Logitech Gaming Software from your PC while the controller is disconnected. Then reconnect the controller and install the default OS driver. This will allow you to avoid the game freeze while using the controller. But the vibration system will not be functional under this setting.
* Just disabling the gamepad from the configuration window while the controller is connected to your PC system will not solve this issue.
