The DRAGON QUEST X collaboration event is returning after a four-year absence!

This special event is your chance to get your hands on some slime-themed equipment based on the famous monster from the Dragon Quest X universe!

Whether you've yet to experience this event for yourself, or if you haven't obtained all of the available items, all are welcome to enjoy this tribute to the Dragon Quest X universe!

About the Dragon Quest X Collaboration Event

The wandering sage Horro has once again boarded the Astoltia Ark to set sail for Vana'diel, where he hopes to buy ever more of its delectable treats.
This time, the slimes made sure to get permission before boarding, but their cousins-the she-slimes and metal slimes-have snuck onboard too...

How to Participate

1. Check the event details.
Talk to one of the slimes in the following areas to participate:

Slarin in Southern San d'Oria (K-9) / Sludge in Bastok Markets (E-10) / Ultra Slime in Windurst Woods (H-11)







2. Receive a dose of slime magic.
Slimes can only be caught after adventurers get gooed-up with magic(*) cast by friendly slimes located in the following areas:
* Players' levels will be reduced to one while under the effects of the slime magic and they will be unable to attack or receive attacks from other monsters for the duration.

Slabble in East Ronfaure (G-6) / Slime Tarou in South Gustaberg (J-7) / Sline in East Sarutabaruta (G-11)







3. Capture the slimes.
Players will be able to attack and capture slimes while under the influence of these grimy incantations. Capturing slimes will reward players with slime coins.

4. Earn coins and trade them for items!
The NPC that gave you the event will trade the following items in exchange for slime coins:

- 30 coins:

* These items will become available for purchase once a player, their party, or their alliance has slain she-slimes or metal slimes. Metal slimes will occasionally appear when vanquishing slimes or she-slimes.

About the Slime Fetish

Players will be able to acquire a Slime Fetish by fulfilling certain conditions. These items can be used with Monstrosity (*), which is a game feature that lets players transform into monsters.

How to Play Monstrosity

1. Obtain the "ring of supernal disjunction" key item.
Complete the quest "Monstrosity" from Suspicious Hume in Pashhow Marshlands (E-12) to get the "ring of supernal disjunction" key item!



2. Go to the "Feretory" lobby area
Examine the Odyssean Passage located in one of the following areas while in possession of the "ring of supernal disjunction" key item to be transported to the Feretory(*).
* The Feretory is an area unique to Monstrosity that enables you to make various preparations.

Northern San d'Oria (L-8) / Port Windurst (M-4) / Port Bastok (K-12) / Pashhow Marshlands (E-12)









3. Transform into a slime!
Trade a Slime Fetish to Suibhne in the Feretory in order to gain the ability to possess(*) slimes.
* The ability to transform into a monster within Monstrosity is known as "possession."



4. You can also change into a metal slime or she-slime!
By fulfilling other specified conditions, you can obtain a Metal Slime Spirit and a She-Slime Spirit.
If you trade a Metal Slime Spirit or She-Slime Spirit to Suibhne while possessing a slime, you will be able to possess other kinds of slimes as well.
