Announcing the September version update! (08/22/2014)
The next version update will come romping into Vana'diel in early September.
Join the stampede with Incursion, new battle content pitting the fittest adventurers against hordes of Velkk, and Walk of Echoes content for high item level characters.
Also trampling the competition are a multitude of job adjustments, a fresh revamp of the Gobbie Mystery Box, the addition of a new monster family to Monster Rearing, and much, much more!
* Some previously announced features, including a Wings of the Goddess-related story; secondary linkshell features; and expansion of equipment sets have been postponed pending further adjustments.

Vana'diel Doused with August Version Update! (08/11/2014)
Beat the heat by diving headfirst into the sea of additional Seekers of Adoulin missions implemented with this update! However, if that alone doesn't quench your thirst for adventure, try getting wet and wild in the new alluvion skirmishes!
The equipment set-switching feature should help you keep your cool in the field, whereas new slick and sleek weapons may just compel you to ice some enemies. Furthermore, you'll be able to sink deeper into the abyss of Ra'Kaznar with the unveiling of its Inner Court, or-if you prefer to stay afloat-splash around with Shadowreign alter egos. Let's not lose the various job adjustments and job point additions amidst this perfect storm of an update, either. There's something for every swashbuckler in this installment!

The land is thrown into turmoil following Melvien's death. A new threat emerges while the rift between the sacred city's twelve orders deepens further and tensions between those in favor of colonization and those vehemently against it reach the boiling point.
What destiny lies in store for those caught up in these eddies of misfortune?
And what is the ultimate endgame of this new threat facing the land...?
With the final chapter rapidly approaching, the raging seas of the fourth installment in Arciela's saga continue to churn.
