Returnee Support Campaign Part Three (12/22/2017)

Hot on the heels of Part Two of the Returnee Support Campaign is Part Three, split into two halves for your adventuring pleasure!
Each half contains three separate items on the menu, with the first half focused on casual play and the second half centering on overcoming difficult trials.

If this is your first month back in Vana'diel:

Are you aware of the Records of Eminence system? If not, diving right into it should be your first step forward!

In Records of Eminence, players can set a variety of objectives—from vanquishing certain monsters and participating in various types of battle content—complete them for a special currency known as sparks of eminence, and trade the sparks in for item level 117 equipment. To get started, select "Basics" from the Tutorial section, set the objective "Call Forth an Alter Ego," and follow the instructions laid out before you!

To those who haven't yet reached item level 119:

A currency known as "bayld" is available for contributing to pioneering activities in Seekers of Adoulin areas. Bayld can be exchanged for all manner of item level 119 equipment, so you can continue on with your character's progress as you learn more about the story of the Scared City.

Pioneering activities run the gambit from participating in battle content such as Colonization and Lair Reives or by performing more solo-friendly, exploratory coalition assignments.

After all the hustle and bustle of the first two parts, you're probably read for a little bit of a break.

Let's take a look at some activities that you can enjoy by interact with non-player entities like chocobos, monsuters, and NPCs. The first half is focused on supporting your casual activities so that you can get back into the tick starting in mid-January!

Spend some time with your chocobo companion in the Chocobo Digging Skill Increase Campaign!

In Chocobo Digging, players and their valiant chocobo companions go search for items buried just beneath Vana'diel's surface. The higher one's digging skill, the less time it takes to dig. Skill gains will be increased during this period, so get out there and see if you can nab something wonderful!

Get to know your monsters up close and personal with the Monster Rearing Campaign!

Monster Rearing is a type of non-battle content that takes place inside one's Mog Garden. Your monsters' appearances change as they grow, and they bestow special effects known as Chacharoon's cheers upon you as they grow up! Enjoy watching your monster grow easier than ever before with this special campaign!

Battle alongside NPCS in the Campaign Festa!

In Campaign, players work alongside NPCs in the Shadowreign Era to stymie the Beastmen Confederate. During the festa, players not only earn double experience and allied notes, but also have a chance to gain special spoils for specific battlefields such as Splitting Heirs and Cracking Shells only available during this festa!

Part Three, Second Half: Overcoming Difficult Trials

It's time to wrap up the final part of our three-step campaign with a bang as we encourage you to try some of the most challenging content Vana'diel has to offer!

Vagary is group content in which players band together to tackle monsters and areas that pose a variety of challenges to overcome. Successfully felling the boss rewards players with materials to reforge Empyrean armor-a prize that only becomes easier to obtain during the campaign!
