Happy New Year tidings to all!
May 16th of this year marks the 20th Vana'versary of FFXI.
In advance of this momentous occasion, last year we launched the celebratory WE ARE VANA'DIEL promotional website.
With updates nearly every week, the site is chock full of content to enjoy ahead of our 20-year celebration. If you haven't visited the site before or it's been a while since you last joined us, please take a look at all the articles and interviews we've prepared for you.
One of the major features is a historic retreospective series about Vana'diel. Before the site went live, we noticed that a lot of the content therein deal with topics from 2002, the initial release of Vana'diel, and it reminds me that a lot of what we experience today is based on that solid foundation from two decades ago. I cannot help but be thankful for all who have worked so hard to make FINAL FANTASY XI the game it is today, whether they participated from the start, have only been involved in recent years, or joined us anywhere in between.
The Prdoucer Session section boasts many discussions with movers and shakers who love FINAL FANTASY XI, and I am reminded that we would never have made it to this point without our wonderful adventurers from all walks of life. Thank you for choosing to spend your time with us in Vana'diel.
This year we are looking forward to bringing you monthly updates to the Records of Eminance system and Ambuscade, as you have come to expect in recent years, but the main attraction in 2022 is beyond a doubt The Voracious Resurgence.
As we progress through The Voracious Resurgence and see where the twists and turns take us, we will have the opportunity to experience all-new battle content as well.
And speaking of combat, we're eager to bring you new reforging of empyrean equipment and further increases to the master level cap—a feature which we know has won the hearts of many players.
We're also laying the groundwork for new storage systems debuting this fiscal year. Hopefully this will help solve your inventory woes.
As ever before, the development and operations teams are working their utmost to ring in the 20th Vana'versary in style. We hope that you will continue to accompany us on FINAL FANTASY XI's wondrous journey.
