Strange Happenings in Vana'diel (03/07/2026)
Starting today, we will be launching a special event to commemorate the "Echoes of Vana'diel" crossover content between FINAL FANTASY XI and FINAL FANTASY XIV.
Out of nowhere, giant monsters have appeared in places where they most definitely do not belong. These unexpected visitors have the potential to throw the surrounding areas into utter chaos. Therefore, we are calling upon all available adventurers to help investigate this incident and defeat the invaders!
Additionally, it's rumored that the monsters may drop rather unusual materials when defeated...

Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 4:00 a.m. (PST) to Sunday, April 5, at 7:59 a.m. (PDT)

Note: This event will run longer than the usual seasonal events, so feel free to complete it at your leisure.

Ru'Aun Gardens
■ About the monsters
These monsters cannot be claimed by a single player or party and may be freely attacked by any adventurer that happens to be present at the time. Also, the monsters will respawn in approximately 45 minutes after they have been defeated.
■ About the treasure chests
Once you defeat one of these giant monsters, it will drop a treasure chest containing selected items. Anyone can open the treasure chest, and it will remain for 10 minutes until it is unlocked.
Note: Even if someone else opens the chest first, it will continue to remain until you open it yourself.
Visit the Synergy Furnaces located across the land in order to reforge your gear into powerful new equipment.
