The Egg Hunt Egg-stravaganza limited-time event returns for 2026!

Collect special initial eggs and work to complete certain phrases in order to earn various Egg Hunt-themed rewards.

Also, completing a specific role will let you earn up to one #FES dial key per day (Earth time) that can be used with the Gobbie Mystery Box. The #FES dial key allows you to use the Festival Dial, which contains spoils from content such as high-tier mission battlefields and high-tier avatar battlefields.

Enjoying the Festivities

1. Speak to a moogle.
Moogles will appear in the following locations during the course of the event. You can learn more about the Egg Hunt and the initial eggs by talking to the moogle.

2. Collect the initial eggs.
Initial eggs may be collected once per Vana'diel day via the following methods.

Obtain them from moogles
- Speak to a moogle.
You will obtain one initial egg. After completing the First Three phrase, you will be able obtain two types of initial eggs.

- Trade one of the following sets of items to a moogle.
12 bird eggs / 12 hard-boiled eggs / 6 lizard eggs / 1 apkallu egg / 1 soft-boiled egg / 1 colored egg / 1 party egg / 99 Sairui-ran / 1 lucky egg / 1 imperial egg

* New characters will be unable to receive initial eggs until 0:00 Vana'diel time after character creation.
* When in a party and speaking to a moogle, you may designate one party member and receive an egg with the first initial of their character name. Also, if the designated member is wearing an egg helm, an additional initial egg can be acquired.

Obtain them by mining, logging, or harvesting
Initial eggs may be collected from various gathering points throughout Vana'diel.

You can also trade them with other players, acquire them from the bazaar, or have them delivered to other characters under the same account.

3. Collect the initial eggs and complete the phrases.
The initial eggs are inscribed with the letters A to Z. Combine them to complete the various phrases. Some of these phrases are listed below.

[First Three]
Collect the first three letters of your character's name.
Example: If your character's name is Moogle, you need to collect M, O, and O.
* You must first hand in the First Three to complete any of the following phrases.

[Initial Straight 8]
Starting with the first letter of your character's name, collect eight letters in alphabetical order.
Example: If your character's name is Moogle, you need to collect M, N, O, P, Q, R, S, and T.

[Seven of a Kind]
Collect seven of any given letter.
Example: Seven As.

Create your own egg buffet!

You can earn the four rewards listed below for completing a certain phrase. Trade them to the moogle inside your Mog House to build your very own egg buffet! The moogle will also help break the buffet down into its constituent parts if you trade him the buffet again.

Check out the new festival dial!

Visit the Gobbie Mystery Boxes throughout Vana'diel to make use of the new festival dial!

The festival dial is a special dial that gives you a chance to obtain rewards from high-tier mission battlefields and high-tier avatar battlefields such as ★The Orb's Radiance and ★Divine Interference that were previously unavailable from other dials.

You need an #FES dial key in order to use the festival dial, which can be obtained by fulfilling certain conditions in each seasonal event.

During the Egg Hunt Egg-stravaganza, you can trade a certain completed phrase to the moogle in order to obtain an #FES dial key. So take on the activities bit by bit each day and something good might happen!
* You can acquire one #FES dial key per day (Earth time).

Acquisition conditions
- Trade the initial eggs forming the specified phrase to the moogle.
