Access Your Friend List from Your Web Browser
The Friend List makes it easy to stay in touch with your friends on PlayOnline, allowing you to exchange messages or check their online status. With Friend List Plus, a PlayOnline Plus service, you can do this over the worldwide web.

Message Your Friends from Anywhere
To access Friend List Plus, all you need is a computer that can connect to the Internet. You can keep in touch with your friends this way from school, work, libraries, Internet cafes, or anywhere else with Internet access.

Create an E-mail Address Based on Your Character’s Name
Character name addresses are e-mail addresses based on the names of your characters from games like FINAL FANTASY XI.
In addition to your current PlayOnline mail address (#####@pol.com), you can have up to five character name addresses.
This is especially useful for people who play characters in several different games. Keep in touch with friends from different games by using a different address for each.

Character name addresses are not independent mail accounts. They simply mask your PlayOnline address. |

You can set up different sender information for each character name address. You can also change it easily when you compose mail. |

Check PlayOnline Mail Through Other Accounts
The mail forwarding service forwards mail that is sent to your PlayOnline mail address (#####@pol.com) to up to two other e-mail addresses. By forwarding mail to an address that you check regularly, you can read mail from your PlayOnline friends anytime, anywhere.

Reject or Allow Mail Easily
The mail filter is a feature that allows users to allow or reject specific e-mails. There are two types of filters: a black list and a white list. Only one filter can be used at a time. |
Black list
By assigning e-mail addresses and subjects that you would like to reject to your black list, you can easily control which e-mails will be delivered to your inbox and which will be blocked.
White list
Only e-mail addresses and subjects assigned to your white list will be delivered to your inbox.
There are 4 parameters that can assigned to the mail filter: Domain, E-mail Address, Account, and Subject.
60 e-mail addresses, domains, and accounts and 60 subjects can be assigned, coming to a total of 120 parameters.
For example, if you set up the filter to block mail with a subject containing the word "advertisement," all such mail sent to your account will be refused.
