Without a doubt, the Harvest Festival is one of the two largest festivals in all of Vana'diel. Search for pumpkins all throughout Vana'diel and take part in the Harvest Festival-themed minigames held in each nation to obtain various rewards.
Once again, the Ilm equipment series makes its return this year. Participate in the login campaign and the various events to obtain each piece of the set.

1. Speak to the moogle
Speak to a moogle in one of the following locations in order to confirm the details of the event and receive a bit of moogle magic.

2. Defeat the Wraith Bats
Once you have received the moogle's enhancing magic, defeat the Wraith Bats that appear in the surrounding area. You can only face the Wraith Bats if you are at Level 1 due to the effects of the enhancing magic.
3. Speak to the moogle once more
After defeating one or more Wraith Bats, talk to the moogle once again to receive additional enhancing magic.
4. Defeat Pyracmon
Once you receive the extra enhancing magic, defeat Pyracmon when it appears nearby. Pyracmon can only be damaged with the Enlight effect given to you as part of the moogle's enhancing magic. So make sure to win the battle before the effects of the magic wear off.
5. Report back to the moogle
After you successfully defeat Pyracmon, return to the moogle to claim your reward.
In addition to repeatedly defeating Pyracmon, you can obtain even more special rewards by taking it down while meeting certain conditions.
* NPCs will accept most sweets, with certain exceptions that do not appeal to their finicky palates.

Windurst Waters / Windurst Woods
Obtain rare rewards
Out of the equipment you can randomly receive, there will be high-quality versions of each piece. If you trade the treats while wearing the regular quality version of an item, you might be able to receive its high-quality version.
Also, forming a party of two or more players and going to the costume party while wearing a specific costume combination can allow you to obtain special rewards.

* Your costume will be evaluated on your main/sub weapons, and your head, body, hands, legs, and feet equipment. You will also need to disable your style lock setting in order to participate.
Furthermore, the three highest-ranked outfits will be displayed on mannequins in the venue for all festival-goers to admire.

The festival dial is a special dial that gives you a chance to obtain rewards from high-tier mission battlefields and high-tier avatar battlefields such as ★The Orb's Radiance and ★Divine Interference that were previously unavailable from other dials.
You need an #FES dial key in order to use the festival dial, which can be obtained by fulfilling certain conditions in each seasonal event.
