Announcement for players planning on buying FINAL FANTASY XI 2008 Edition (22/05/2008)
Previous editions of FINAL FANTASY XI have included separate registration codes for PlayOnline, FINAL FANTASY XI and each expansion pack. However, the 2008 Edition will include a single registration code valid for PlayOnline and all FINAL FANTASY XI contents.
Players will only have to enter it once – it will no longer be necessary to enter every single registration code for the various expansion packs.

New Image Upload Feature Added to the Linkshell Community! (15/05/2008)
A new image upload feature has been added to the FINAL FANTASY XI Linkshell Community Beta Version. Using this feature, users are able to upload images such as screenshots to their community's message board or calendar.
Users can utilize this feature to post pictures from events held by their linkshell or upload strategic plans for an upcoming battlefield. Feel free to use it however you want!
In addition to the image upload feature, we are also planning on adding a "Photo Album" in the near future.

Six Years in the Running! Adventurer Appreciation Campaign Imminent! (12/05/2008)
As of this very April 16th, it has been a hearty and memorable six years since adventurers the world over first began embarking on their online escapades in Vana'diel. Seizing upon any chance for unbridled celebration and revelry, and lest we be accused of breaking from tradition, today will therefore herald in the annual Adventurer Appreciation Campaign!
