Adventurers seeking to reach the absolute pinnacle of power, your day has come! The latest FINAL FANTASY XI version update is here, featuring the lifting of the level cap to 99 and a veritable host of potent new job abilities, weapon skills, and magic spells to master.
Put your skills to the test with challenges befitting your newfound might, including the third installment of the Voidwatch battle system and new Walk of Echoes battlefields. Players can also partake in the Gobby Mystery Box reward system, additions and refinements to existing content, user interface improvements, and more!

Version Update Coming Up! (01/12/2011)
The forthcoming version update is scheduled to shimmy down the chimneys of good boys and girls in the middle of December.
While the level cap increase to 99 may be the most widely discussed implementation, that's not the only thing happening in Vana'diel! New job abilities and spells will of course accompany the increase, but players can also look forward to the third chapter of Voidwatch, new walks in the Walk of Echoes, and improvements to the game's interface.
