As previously reported in this space, the new and vastly improved Return Home to Vana'diel Campaign begins today!By taking advantage of this special offer, almost any of your beloved characters can be restored to their former glory, allowing you to resume your epic adventures in Vana'diel as if you had never left!
Improvements made to the campaign this time around will allow for nearly all previous characters—with only rare exceptions—to be available for restoration.

Fan Festival 2008: Thanks for the Memories! (12/09/2008)
Fan Festival 2008 came to a close Saturday night to the sound of roaring applause and the sight of bright, excited faces, eager to get their hands on the thrilling new content they had just witnessed. We thoroughly enjoyed this year's Fan Festival and hope all of our attendees had a great time as well. For those who were unable to go, we're preparing a full report on all the events and attractions this year, so stay tuned! The December version update, with more new content and adjustments than you can wave a stick at, is now ready for download! The following and much, much more awaits you!
- New missions for the Wings of the Goddess expansion.

-The addition of the Group 2 merit point category for dancers and scholars.
