Version Update Notice (01/27/2011)

As previously mentioned on this space, FINAL FANTASY XI will see more frequent updates in the future, with the introduction of small-scale patches to complement the major releases seen thus far.

We are pleased to announce that the first of these small-scale patches is scheduled for mid-February, and will usher in a range of battle-related tweaks, such as increasing experience point yield and lifting level restrictions on certain mission battlefields. The PlayStation 2 HDD storage issue will also be addressed, with adjustments to the way version update files are downloaded.
