Ninth Anniversary Art Contest Honorable Mentions Exhibited! (05/24/2011)
The time has come to unveil those pieces of art that were bestowed with either special consideration or the Copper Prize. Sadly, we cannot award the Crystal and Mythril prizes to every painting or sculpture, but we can erect another wing in our digital museum so that everyone may view these inspiring examples of Vana'dielian devotion.

Results of the 9th Anniversary Fan Art Contest! (05/19/2011)
May 16 marked the ninth full year of FINAL FANTASY XI's service, and in honor of the occasion, we beseeched you adventurers to craft some novennial-themed works of art.
At long last, our meticulous panel of judges from the development and operations teams has emerged from their chambers, the names of the 9th Anniversary Fan Art Contest's top five artists clenched securely in the palm of one judge's hand!

The 9th Annual Adventurer Appreciation Campaign Arrives! (05/11/2011)
Only a paltry number of days remain until May 16, when we mark the 9th year since FINAL FANTASY XI launched and Vana'diel's golden age of adventure began.
The realm has prospered for so long thanks to all you heroic adventurers, and as a small token of our undying gratitude, we would like to announce the return of that longstanding Vana'diel institution--the Adventurer Appreciation Campaign--which commences today!
As always, the lovely nomad moogle Kupolette has fluttered in to furnish us with details of the event. Look! Her emphatic greeting is a testament to her enthusiasm for this tradition. What tidings will she bring to us this year?

The Version Update Has Arrived! (05/10/2011)
Adventurers of Vana'diel, take heed: the May version update has gone live! With the first installment of the new Voidwatch battle system, a new set of battlefields, and the expanded solo training feature, Grounds of Valor, this update is sure to offer hair-raising challenges for one and all!
