Notice Regarding the Cancellation of PlayStation®2 and Xbox 360® Service for FINAL FANTASY XI (11/27/2015)
As previously announced on Thursday, March 19, 2015, PlayStation®2 and Xbox 360® service for FINAL FANTASY XI will end on Thursday, March 31, 2016.
As such, PlayStation®2 and Xbox 360® service will not be available after March 31, 2016, but your service account will remain in effect.
Those wishing to continue their adventures in Vana?diel may do so via the Windows® version.

Players may continue enjoying FINAL FANTASY XI with the same SQUARE ENIX Account, PlayOnline ID, and PlayOnline password.

FINAL FANTASY XIV / FINAL FANTASY XI Collaboration Event! (11/11/2015)
FINAL FANTASY XIV, is a game in which adventurers from around the world band together in one grand adventure spanning the fantastic expanse of Eorzea. We are very excited to announce this special collaboration event with the team behind the latest entry in the FINAL FANTASY series.
As part of this collaboration event, Iroha, the central character of Rhapsodies of Vana'diel, will take her first steps into the strange new world of Eorzea. Iroha soon finds herself embroiled in a series of FATEs, special battle events that rage across Eorzea's far-flung realms, and players will be able to battle alongside her for a limited time. The adventurers who emerge victorious from her accompanying quest will be rewarded with the same distinctive set of Amatsu armor as that worn by Iroha herself. A new world awaits! We hope to see you in Eorzea for this special limited-time event!
Event Period: Wednesday, November 11, 2015, at 12:00 a.m. (PST) to Thursday, December 31 at 6:59 a.m.

If you are logged in when the campaign begins, you must either relog or change areas in order to receive your points.

Rhapsodies of Mog Bonanza! (11/06/2015)
In commemoration of the launch of Rhapsodies of Vana'diel's final chapter, and in celebration of every adventurer who made it possible, a special Rhapsodies of Mog Bonanza will be kicking off for all of Vana'diel's daring hopefuls.
Along with new items introduced with November's version update, tickets for the latest abjuration equipment sets and other new prizes will be made available. Not only that, but unique and special mog bonanza equipment is also ready to surprise and delight!

*Bonanza marbles will be on sale from Monday, November 9, 2015 to Thursday December 10.
*Only characters in which at least 32 days (Earth time) have elapsed since character creation are eligible to participate.
