The May Version Update Springs Forth! (05/10/2018)
With the advent of this update, new Records of Eminence challenges will help your alter egos become stronger than ever before. Once completed, adventurers will be able to summon higher level versions of these famous personages to help with their endeavors.
In addition, many song effect icons have been improved and Ambuscade has undergone adjustments.

Announcing the 16th Vana'versary Mog Bonanza! (05/09/2018)
We're pleased to announce a new Mog Bonanza event in celebration of sixteen years of FINAL FANTASY XI!
This bonanza's offering includes a bevy of wonderful items, weapons, and armor, including the style lock-friendly Brave Blade II!

* Only characters for which 32 days or more have passed since creation are eligible to purchase marbles.

A special anniversary event, the Premium Mooblin Battle, will commence on Wednesday, May 16, in celebration of the 16th year of FINAL FANTASY XI service.
The dedicated can get their hands on a statue of Cornelia furnishing and a variety of other prizes as rewards for their stalwart efforts.
