"Besieged" is a form of defensive battle that takes place when enemy forces breach the gates of Al Zahbi. The Imperial Army declares martial law, and the city is enveloped in conflict. After martial law is declared, anyone in the area who can use a weapon is required to join the Imperial Army in combat and take charge of Al Zahbi's defense and the protection of the Empire's greatest treasure--the "Astral Candescence."

Kiki: Somewhere in city, there is temple called Hall of Binding. Candescense in there. Al Zahbi generals hold keys. Kiki and Gobbie-boy must protect generals from monster and beestman and Mamool Ja and monster.

"Is that all? I must have at least 30 notches on my belt from all those forest hares I pawned back in East Ronfaure. Taking out a couple of these Mammal Joes will be a piece of Rolanberry pie!"
