This year we’ve prepared graphs showing the percentage of characters with skill ranks of craftsman or above, as well as the percentages of synthesis skills at 100.

Let’s first take a look at the percentage of characters with skill ranks of craftsman or above. Compared to the last census, the synthesis skills seem to be spread more equally. The most noticeable increase would be goldsmithing, probably due to the popularity of rings and other accessories. Cooking, which monopolized over 30% of the total last time, has fallen to 20%.

Lastly, we take another look at a statistic that was quite popular among angling adventurers last time—the number of Ebisu fishing rods possessed by players across the realm.

Despite the rod being obtainable only through a particularly challenging quest, the number has more than doubled since the last census.
