From the FINAL FANTASY XI Development Team
August Version Update (31/07/2007)
The next FINAL FANTASY XI version update is scheduled to take place near the end of August.
We are currently planning to introduce the Pit, the Chocobo Circuit, new quests and Assault missions, not to mention the final chapters of the Aht Urhgan storyline!
Details on these features, as well as a host of other changes and additions, will be released in the near future.

Today's report will outline our actions conducted from June 26, 2006 to July 24, 2007 in dealing with players violating the user agreement, as well as details on the activities, results, and goals of the Special Task Force.

The FINAL FANTASY XI Starter Pack has been released in Europe!
Along with this new version of the game, we are now providing the Expansion pack registration code download service.
You can purchase registration codes for "Rise of the Zilart", "Chains of Promathia" and "Treasures of Aht Urhgan", so you can enjoy the game in its entirety with the Starter Pack.

The Sunbreeze Festival is Almost Here! (20/07/2007)
As the days grow longer and the sun burns hotter, what better way to beat the heat than by donning your best yukata and partaking in the excitement of the Sunbreeze Festival! From fireworks and goldfish scooping to testing your mettle in haunted dungeons or joining the Rakapopo Dancers in the Sunbreeze Shuffle, there is a little something for everyone!

Chapter 4 includes six new movies, including explanations on how to obtain your chocobo license and support job, as well as hints and tips for overcoming other challenges you will face in your budding adventuring career.

"FINAL FANTASY XI Linkshell Community Beta Version" Version Update (05/07/2007)
Today a "FINAL FANTASY XI Linkshell Community Beta Version" version update was conducted which introduced the Item Info feature, which allows users to display in-game item information within posts on the Linkshell Community, the Equipment Information feature that allows character equipment to be displayed within a member's profile, and several other new features.
