This year, the blacksmiths of the Far East have trekked across vast oceans in order to share their knowledge with their comrades in the Middle Lands--and one of them was kind enough to grace us with a display of his longsword skills, kupo.

The New Version Update Draws Nigh (04/15/2011)
The next update to FINAL FANTASY XI will be released on Tuesday, May 10.
The update will introduce new battlefields as well as an original battle system called Voidwatch, which will target high-level adventurers. As part of our ongoing effort to revitalize existing areas, Dynamis will also be overhauled and monster placement modified. To enhance player convenience, all auction houses will be consolidated and the delivery system will be refined as well. Furthermore, the fellow system will see a host of new improvements and jobs will receive adjustments, all in all making for an expansive update.

Siren World Has Marked 3,166 Consecutive Victories in Besieged! (04/14/2011)
On April 14, 2011, the chapter was closed on one of the greatest tales of heroism that Vana'diel has known. On this day, the brave adventurers of Siren World suffered their first Besieged defeat after a remarkable 3,166 consecutive victories—a spectacular record of unbroken triumph dating back to the system's introduction on April 17, 2006.
Though their streak may have come to an end, the heroes and heroines of Siren World can take pride in knowing that tales of their valor will be sung in teahouses across the Empire for ages to come. We congratulate them on their efforts, and extend our best wishes to adventurers of all Worlds fighting to defend the Astral Candescence from the vile hands of the Beastmen!

Springtime is come once more to Vana'diel, and any adventurer not hatched yesterday knows what this spells: another edition of the Egg Hunt Egg-stravaganza! That's right, folks, it's time again for that most egg-citing of egg-themed traditions, where egg-sperienced warriors and hatchlings alike swap their steel for baskets of eggs. By the time the festivities are through, you will have seen enough eggs and had your ears bent with enough egg puns to fill the Tahrongi Canyon thrice over.
But whence came such copious quantities of eggs? This question surely stirs the interest of inquiring minds on occasion. While dark rumors abound of forbidden magicks and unsavory dealings, thus far the truth has eluded the imaginations of even the most imaginative. History shall be made today, however, as Magic Paradise Weekly is permitted backstage entry to the MHMU's heretofore unrevealed egg-making operation for a world egg-sclusive report.
